–The Big Sandy Alumni Association will hold its annual picnic/business meeting July 27, 2014 at the Simla park. Please bring a main dish, desert or salad if it is convenient to share with the alums present. Drinks and table service will be furnished by the Association.
–The class of 1959 is celebrating its 55th reunion this year. The class of 1964 will also celebrate its 50th. Stop by and congratulate these classes for their significant milestones.
–The offices of association president and secretary will be held this year. If you have interest in becoming an officer this year or another year, please contact the current secretary or president.
–Remember that our annual meeting is always the 4th Sunday in July of each year (for 2015 it is July 26).
–For those interested, tours of the new completed school will be available after the business meeting.
–The Alumni Association display cabinet is nearly complete and is located in the east vestibule as you depart from the new gymnasium using the east exit. We will keep some items on permanent display and change others each year of periodically. The cabinet provides a presence in the school of our association.
