Recently my niece kindly sent me photographs of my oldest sister’s diploma from Simla Union High School (SUHS), Class of 1932.
My sister, Glida, and I graduated from SUHS twenty years after our sister Helen, who graduated from SUHS one and one half year prior to my birth.
From stories gathered from Glida, I discovered both my sister, Helen, and my older brother Walter, were staying together in Simla, circa 1932, and both attended Simla Union High School during that time. I still haven’t found out how much schooling Walter had – or whether he graduated.
I do have family stories of Walter, and figure it will take an entire chapter of writing, or more, to share those stories of him! 🙂
I continue to research, collect and compile the history of my family and our story – so much of which was spent in the Rush, Colorado area.
Until the research/writing is and book is completed, I wished to share these pictures and information with my fellow Alumni Members.
