Beautiful weather and and attendance of around 100 Big Sandy Alumni made this year’s picnic a gala event. Great food and conversation were followed by the annual Association meeting and reports, with an announcement and details regarding the Association’s new website and appointment of Tamrah Jo Docterman, (Class of 1986) as Website and Member Communications Services Director.
Due to scheduling conflicts, Connie Tullis resigned her post as the Association’s Vice-President. A nomination, second and vote resulted in Mrs. Nancy Manuwal Nicks (Class of 1965) being elected as the new Vice-President.
The offices of President and Secretary were nominated, seconded and approved by vote for Jerry Maranville (Class of 1958) to continue in capacity as President and Nancy Allison (Class of 1962) in the position of Secretary.
Thanks to all members who attended, renewed their memberships and support the Association throughout the year.
