On May 27, 2017, the Big Sandy Alumni Association presented three scholarships, each in amount of $1,500, to the following recent graduates:

Jeremy Butler will attend Clarendon College in Texas to major in Agricultural Business.
Ryland Howard will attend CSU in Fort Collins with a major in Psychology.
Rhett Lavender will also attend CSU with a major in Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Biology.
The Association congratulates these high achieving students.
