Congratulations to three of our most recent Big Sandy graduates who were each awarded a $1,500 scholarship from Big Sandy Alumni Association at Commencement May 28th, as our community also celebrated 100 years of Simla graduates.
Congratulations to our 2016 Scholarship recipients (Pictured left to right) Mason Riley, Michaela Sielaff and Krista McConnell.
Mason Riley will attend Colorado State University at Fort Collins to major in Environmental Engineering.
Michaela Sielaff will major in Nursing at Hayes State University in Kansas.
Krista McConnell will obtain a Interpreters Degree from Front Range Community College, before going to Colorado State University to major in Social Work.
