Big Sandy Alumni Association awarded scholarships of $2,000 each to three outstanding high school graduates.
Treven Kocerha
Treven will attend Ft. Hays State University to pursue a degree in Business Management. His parents are Kelly and Kyle Kocerha.
Kylie Maranville
Kylie will attend South Dakota State University to pursue a degree in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Optometry. Her parents are Cindy and Chad Maranville.
Lauren Rector
Lauren will attend Western Nebraska Community College to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. Her parents are Krista and Jerrol Rector.
56years of Scholarships Awarded
The Big Sandy Alumni Association is pleased to report that we have awarded $84,700 in scholarships to date.
The first scholarship in 1969 was in the amount of $50.00. We extend our sincere appreciation for the support we have received through your membership, memorials and special donations.
